Literally seconds from the sparkling sea, the Hotel Kamelia waits you to welcome you to the picturesque village of Skala Potamias on the “Emerald Island” of Thassos.

Each and every morning, between 08:30 and 10:30, a buffet style, help yourself, breakfast is available in our breakfast room. Our breakfast can, of course, be taken in the breakfast room or perhaps you would prefer to enjoy it in the shaded fresh morning air on the veranda or why not outside on the patio as you watch the sunlight dancing on the sea as it gently kisses the pebble beach just a few meters away? Just for a change, forget the diet and pre-book a more substantial breakfast prepared especially for you by the family. Either way – what a great way to start your day!

Set amidst lush green grass and exotic flowers, our garden bar is open each afternoon and evening. Here you can relax in the fresh air, meet other guest, make new friends or just sit and watch the day slide into a warm and welcome evening.

Go Greek – try an ouzo with lots of ice and a little water, or savour the rich aroma and taste of a Metaxa, or, why not an iced coffee – a frappe – with sugar, milk or even ice cream added to suit your taste – really refreshing! We serve a variety of beers, spirits, soft drinks and exotic cocktails with a special cocktail on offer each evening. Later, after a really good meal and a leisurely stroll, join us again for a nightcap or two to round off yet another perfect day.
