Lecabettus Hill
With its 277 meter (910 feet) Lecabettus Hill is the highest point of Athens, visible from about every point in town. On top of the majestic peak you will find the small whitewashed chapel of St. George. From the observation deck you will have a full view on the city, the open air amphitheatre, the Acropolis and the mountains surrounding Athens. On clear days you can see the ships in the port of Pireas, the Aegean sea and the islands.
